  • This is the first episode centered around Butter.

AFN Description[]

Mayor Jeff is going to take the Otter family's photograph today, and Opal has all three of her kids perfectly groomed and dressed. She asks Peanut and Jelly to look out for Baby Butter until Mayor Jeff arrives, taking special care to see that she doesn't get herself splattered with mud. Trouble is, Butter's a mud-magnet, and it's all her brother and sister can do to her irresistable attraction to mud. After a series of misadventures they all end up in the mud... but figure out a way to look sharp in the photograph anyway.

Quotes[]

  • Mrs. Duck: (to Flick) I will tell you what Flick. If you come home with me right now, I will give you a cookie.
  • Flick: A cookie? Make that three and we could talk!
  • (Mrs. Duck suddenly remembers something. She realizes that when Flick ate some of the chocolate chip cookies this morning, she --although she does not do further investigation-- asks Flick if he had cookies for breakfast. That is, as she asks Flick...!)
  • Mrs. Duck: Did you have cookies for breakfast?
  • (Both walk away and to the duck houseboat so Flick can do his piano lessons. Mrs. Duck will talk to Flick about this later. Cut back to Peanut, Jelly, and Baby Butter. However, Mrs. Duck is also unaware of the clean sheets that Peanut and Jelly were using for the mud to keep Baby Butter out of the mud. That is, if the clean sheets --on the clothes rack-- belonged to Mrs. Duck.)
