Halloween is a holiday traditionally celebrated on October 31 and is one of the holidays that the universe in which Lake Hoohaw resides shares with the real world. Like in the real world, the children of Lake Hoohaw celebrate Halloween by dressing up in costumes and going trick-or-treating. This entails going from door-to-door dressed in costumes (ranging from superheroes to scary creatures) to the houses of friends and neighbors to have candy and other treats dropped in goody bags. Of course, an occasional trick or prank can't be ruled out, either.

Additionally, like in the real world, Halloween is sometimes celebrated with a Halloween party. This is generally accompanied by spooky decorations, often in the colors of orange and black and treats intended to evoke a sense of spookiness, such as "jam on ghost."

In PB&J Otter, Halloween was featured in "A Hoohaw Halloween," the program's final episode.
