Sveriges Television (SVT), is the Swedish national public television broadcaster that launched on September 4, 1956. The network is funded by the television licence fee payable by all owners of television sets and set by the Riksdag.
The network's programming mainly consists of news, entertainment, drama, children's shows and foreign programs.
